I bought this bed for Flora, our retired greyhound. She is 13 years old and has arthritis in her spine. Although on medication Flora was having very disturbed nights sleeping on vet bed, even with up to four layers. The very first night she slept on this bed she slept through and has done since. She is also more alert and appears less stiff in the mornings now. I would definately recommend this bed to an owner of an elderly dog.
